Quality or Quantity – How Big Should Your House Be?

May 12, 2008

As more and more of us “baby boomers” find our children grown and having families of their own, we have to consider whether our big homes really suite us and our lifestyles anymore. If you like to spend your time cleaning and dusting rooms that you don’t use anymore then great! But if you find yourself traveling or spending more time relaxing, golfing or water skiing, then it might be time to consider trading down or renting your big home.

Many folks are buying smaller homes that need some improvement, and and spending more money on quality upgrades that make the house more usable and suitable to their needs. New energy efficient appliances, tankless water heaters, cushy patio furniture and custom grills to name a few top choices.

So, take some time and consider what your needs are, as your options are almost unlimited right now. There is plenty of inventory to chose from and the rental market is strong.

As always, feel free to call me if you’d like some advise or information.
